Faith Ranch Camp Faith Ranch is a on-denominational Christian ranch camp for all ages. Part of Ohio Power's reclaimed and restored mining area, fishermen boast of catching some of the largest bass or muskie at one of the 350 ponds and lakes which are stocked regularly. Campers are pleased by experiencing the beauty and tranquility of nature in an area which seems almost untouched. ReCreation Land is home for the 'Big Muskie', a 27-million pound dragline, with a housing as large as a six-story apartment building, which draws the attention of many visitors. Custer Memorial Site marks the 1839 birthplace of General George Armstrong Custer. The Boy General, so nicknamed upon his appointment to Brigadier General of the Michigan Cavalry at age twenty-three, is remembered with a statue and an interpretive exhibit. Perhaps the most controversial figure in American military history, Custer is best known for his infamous Last Stand in 1876, during which he and his entire command, the 7th Cavalry, were annihilated by a unified Sioux force at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Operated by the Byesville Historical Society and housed in a historic bank building, the museum features a collection of antique articles, photographs and documents which chronicle the history of the Byesville area from the mid-1800's to present. Late in 1992 a group of dedicated motorcyclists conceived the idea of a monument for lost bikers. This dream slowly grew into reality with the formation of the 'Motorcyclist Memorial Foundation' formed on December 16, 1993. This foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the permanent memory of brothers and sisters lost.

The foundation members are charged with the care, upkeep, improvements and expansion of the Memorial site, and to annually sponsor a college scholarship flind to benefit students who wish to further their education.

The 'Motorcyclist Memorial' is located on a grassy knoll near Hopedale, Ohio on a site provided by the Hopedale, Ohio American Legion.

Visitors are welcome seven days a week throughout the year. Please plan to visit this sacred area and take a moment to remember those that we have lost.
