NORTH COUNTRY TRAIL Located in the Wayne National Forest, estabtished as anational scenic trail in 1980. Once completed it will be the longest continuous trail in the United States, extending over 3000 miles. The trail joins Stone Church HorseTrail in Shawnee and travels through Burr Oak State Park, Stockport, and to Wolf Run State Park in Noble County. The trail will eventually travel from North Dakota to New York at a junction with the Appalachian Trail. Enter near Shawnee.

BUCKEYE LAKE-Public fishing, land and water activities, winter and summer. Beaches, boat ramps and picnic areas available. Thomport.

PERRY APV PARK (all purpose vehicle) Over 15 miles of trails for offroad motorcycles and trail bikes. Lattines, picnic tables and trash barrels. Entrance off State Route 345, New Lexington. (740)342-2640
